a)  St. Aloysius Gonzaga  (1568-1591)

~  Book:  In God's Garden by Amy Steedman
~  a Greek, Christian hermit saint from Athens, who withdrew deep into a forest in France, where in the greatest solitude, he spent many years, his sole companion being a deer.
~  St. Giles is known as one of the "Fourteen Holy Helpers," a group of saints invoked with special confidence because they proved themselves efficacious helpers in adversity and difficulties.
